This Sunday, April 3, is the final installment in the Lenten series about the Orders of Ministry in the Episcopal Church. This Sunday, we will be talking about the role of the Vestry in the Episcopal Church and particularly in the context of Calvary. Our speakers are Senior Warden Colleen Timimi and Junior Warden Scott Bauer, along with Rector Beth Royalty.
Colleen and her family have been members of Calvary for 11 years. She was a middle school English teacher for many years and continues in her writing practice. At Calvary, she has taught many levels of Sunday school and was the Director of Faith Formation for two years. She is passionate about children and youth ministry and the future of Calvary. Scott and his family have been members of Calvary for over 20 years. He has been a Sunday school teacher, lector, usher, and was the Stewardship chair for two years. His background is in Health and Human Services Administration with extensive experience in grant writing, fundraising and human resource management. He, too, is passionate about the future of Calvary. Colleen and Scott will be talking about their vision of the next year of Vestry work and function at Calvary.
