Beloved in Christ:
It is with great anticipation and gratitude that I formally introduce you to our ministry intern, Nathan Black. You might have already met Nathan and his husband Alejandro, but if not, you will have many opportunities to do so ahead. Nathan will begin his formal work here in September, and will preach a couple of times this summer. Please help me welcome Nathan and Alejandro – it is surely an interesting and exciting time to be part of God’s work at Calvary, and to look for where the Holy Spirit is busy among us and in our neighborhood.

Nathan lives with his husband, Alejandro, and their two cats, Felina & Cometin, in Owatonna. They both enjoy cooking (Alejandro is a chef!), travel, getting outdoors – especially on the water, and spending time with friends and loved ones. Nathan completed a Master of Divinity with a concentration in social transformation at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities in 2018 and is a postulant for holy orders in the Episcopal Church in Minnesota. Nathan is working as a chaplain at Mayo Clinic in Rochester and is delighted to begin serving with everyone at Calvary.
