At Calvary, we are grateful for a year marked by resilience, generosity, and growth. Despite initial concerns over the impact of Mayo Clinic’s expansion and a projected financial shortfall, we’ve seen remarkable progress. Through careful planning and community support, we’ve kept expenses under control and raised revenue beyond expectations, reducing our year-to-date deficit from a projected $75,000 to just $2,780. Highlights of 2024 include the Pancake Power breakfast, which raised $669 for the Ronald McDonald House, and our monthly appeals that have garnered over $16,000 for key priorities, such as the building fund and our Outreach program’s donation to Family Promise in Rochester. We were also thrilled to welcome Bishop Loya, who led a confirmation service for fifteen individuals, and to host our largest parish picnic since the pandemic.
As we launch our 2025 stewardship campaign under the theme “Forward United: We Are Faithful,” we invite you to join us in continuing Calvary’s mission. Our goal of $500,000 will empower us to sustain and grow our community as a spiritual oasis for those who come to Rochester in search of healing and hope. This campaign also supports our search for a new director of music, an essential role that will enrich our worship and communal life. Whether you’re pledging for the first time or renewing your commitment, your contribution is a vital act of faith in Calvary’s future. Pledge by filling out your mailed pledge card and dropping it in the collection basket, using our online form through the QR code, or clicking the link below. Together, we look forward to the blessings and opportunities the coming year will bring.
