We will host a forum on January 19 after the 8:30 service in Crawford Hall to review proposed updates to Calvary’s bylaws. Our bylaws were last updated in 1991 and they are not aligned with the language and requirements in the current canons of the Episcopal Church in Minnesota. Further, the ECMN implemented a requirement in 2001 that parishes in the dioceses review and make any needed changes to their bylaws at least every ten years. Calvary is not in compliance with this requirement.

At the forum, we will present a summary of the process to update Calvary’s bylaws (which began in 2021) and review the draft of the proposed bylaws that was approved by the vestry at their December meeting.
