Beloved in Christ:

This past Sunday, at the worship services and the anniversary and birthday celebration, during coffee hour and the Lenten class, the feelings of fellowship, community and joy were palpable as more and more people are coming into worship services and attending the gatherings that are so important to our community life and our spiritual lives.  Your Vestry gathered after all of the morning events and services were done and had a full and rich meeting. Spiritual and temporal, fellowship and Eucharist, are all interwoven in how we fully live our Christian lives and while we still have the option of online gatherings and probably always will, and we honor and respect those who aren’t yet ready to gather in person for very good reasons, there is no doubt that being together in worship and fellowship is what we are meant to do as God’s beloved children who follow God who poured God’s self into humanity, becoming human in Jesus, so that God could look into our eyes and we could look into God’s eyes and know without a doubt that God is always with us in our individual days and community moments.

Thanks be to God. And thanks be to you.
